BUYERS REMORSE: AN OBAMA VOTER VENTS
It is no surprise here that I'm not an Obama fan; regardless, Michael Goodwin is a columnist that has been somewhat of a weather vane for me for the last couple years. I first noticed him as a frequent guest on the Lou Dobbs show on CNN. He was center-left commentary on the 08 Presidential race. I observed him back then as a fair and equal critic of the McCain and Obama - generally more critical of McCain. Nontheless, his genuine(to my sense)critique of the candidates was something that I appreciated and followed...not terribly frequently, but enough.
This said, here is his sense today for the choice he made as a President. Given, it wasn't the choice I made, but this speaks to, and lends credence to his ability to be fair and critical on the political landscape. Particularly humble of him because many that believe the way he does, have decided instead to dig in their heels in support of President Obama - a fools errand ,in my view.

WHY FOX NEWS DOMINATES
It's not complicated. The average American wants the news - all it can get- as raw as it can get it...this is exactly what Foxnews, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, et al, are providing -- unfiltered, up to the minute(if you choose) real, raw...this is what New Media provides, so long as there is a venue to show it to the people...hence, the ever-growing domination of Foxnews in the cable networks. Folks are witnessing for themselves, the devolution of liberalism before their eyes, and more importantly...in their own lives.
I'll repeat a phrase I read some where: The New Media(internet, blogs, talk radio, etc...) is having the same effect on liberalism everywhere, as the fax machine had on the fall of communism... the capabilities of truth can be/are being delivered to every and anyone in real time.
Facts are stubborn things, that's why MSNBC is at the bottom of the ratings ;)

VIDEO: DICK CHENEY NOT SITTING QUIETLY.
The left calling him Darth Vader never really was an insult to me - as an admirer of Dick Cheney, I always saw it as a perfect metaphor for how incredibly wrong of a perception it is of him. Here is a man made of granite-philosophically and patriotically- who has given virtually his whole life to a stellar, accomplished, career of public service, and when he's not working, he most prefers to be with family, and in the solitude of nature; hunting and fishing. To some soft heads... this is what naturally qualifies one to be a SHAMELESS, DARK, EVIL, SLEUTH.

PRIDE IN POLITICS?: MINNESOTA STYLE
NOT! The national political leadership has become, lately, terribly pathetic here in Minnesota; between our new U.S. Senator Al Franken, and Rep. Keith Ellison, the state of MN has elected two of the biggest liars within politics in recent times. Not to mention, a brewing problem with truth with Rep. Walz - more another time on that-- It's embarrassing, when the average voter says they want "change" ...I believe more, now than ever...they have no idea what the hell they are talking about. When voting for "change" means nothing more than saying i'll go along to get along, damn any consequences.
The guys at Powerline have been all over the shenanigans.

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE CAP AND TRADE BILL...
...Obama's own Energy Czar hasn't even read the whole thing! She gets busted by Doocy BIG TIME!
You see folks, my biggest problem with the Hopenchange movement has been that it inherently requires no accountability or intellectual honesty...simply hope, trust, and cross your fingers. I never bought into it as a legitimate leadership trait and never will.
I want steak, not milquetoast.

This write up on Sen. Schumer's previous words on EIT(enhanced interrogation tecniques) are seriously problematic for Dems. Being that the Dems have basically complete control - House and Presidency- this kind of incoherency on the issues they deem to be paramount to America, simply displays their total incompetence in dealing straight with their cohorts Rep. or Dem. ...much less the American people!
For the life of me, I'll never understand why people(Democrat voters) sit back quietly when this kind of crap passes for public service to "We the people"

OBAMA: "I HAVE A GIFT, HARRY"
This revelation will not surprise many; it simply amplifies what many of us already understood. The problem here is that the clueless Harry Reid spins this piece of news as some kind of compliment to Obama...2 things... 1. Harry seems to believe that Obama needs more compliment heaped upon him-quite obvious he doesn't watch the mainstream media news(which is essentially,primarily credited with getting Obama elected)
2. Clueless Harry continues to demonstrate that virtues that really matter in public service life count only as bargaining chips, or crumbs for the Serfs willing to take them. As a clueless and shameless figure does in his narcissistic nature...he ASS-U-ME's too much (makes an ass out of you-harry and me-obama) ;)
