"Rich nailed it! We all probably WISH that the liberals were correct about Guantanamo, Palestine, Islamo-fascists, Iran, jobs -- all of it. Unfortunately, those of us who actually grow up in the real world, have real jobs, create real jobs for others, actually join the military, actually pay over half our incomes in taxes to the feds, states and cities we live in, and see the reality of the "real world" -- we understand that here on earth is NOT Utopia. It is wonderful here. We are lucky to be here, and should strive to be the best we can be for ourselves and our fellow humankind. BUT, we are in the real world where not everybody is the same as us. Too many people did not understand Bush for what he was -- a pendulum swing by our REAL American culture back in the face of a post-9/11 world. Nothing more and nothing less. We elected Europe's best Utopian president (an entitlement baby who never had a real job in his life, and had perhaps the weirdest childhood of any 20th century US president) to replace a realist with a bad Q rating. IS GLOBAL WARMING KILLING MINNESOTA MOOSE?
If you're inclined to believe the Minneapolis StarTribune, you'd likely take their word for it. I, on the other hand, don't trust the red rag any farther than I can throw it. They've simply had their integrity proven moot too many times - thanks in large part to the local guys at Powerline blog !
To any Minnesotan, particularly a northern Minnesotan...to take out the wolf factor so quickly, simply doesn't smell right. I used to hunt in the northern wolf country and I know landowners up north; there can be no way of convincing them there are not too many wolves. The wolves are now federally protected again, to the dismay of most landowners.
Go read the Powerline take and read up on how the Startribune makes the case for global warming affecting just the moose in Minnesota.

"Wow... what a worthy goal." I told her, "But you don't have to wait
until you're president to do that. You can come over to my house and mow
the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50."
"Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where homeless guys hang
out, and you can give them the $50 you earned, to use toward food and a
new house."
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in
the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the
work, and you can just pay him the $50?"
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."
Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

HOLY BUCKETS! "CORPES-MAN" ???
John Hinderaker at Powerline blog had the same experience yesterday as I did listening to Hugh Hewitt's radio show. I'm linking here to his post with commentary nobody could do any better(escpecially me) along with the video of Obama's horrible stumble.
It now appears-upon after seeing the video-pretty obvious that President Obama has been relying virtually 100% on his teleprompter, sad as it is. As you may know, his teleprompter now even has its own blog. Serious.

FINALLY... ME AND SARAHCUDA!!
Photographs were finally posted of Sarah Palin's book signing here in Minnesota at the Mall Of America 12/7/09. I was able to get two books signed...one for my great friend, Larry, for Christmas...and of course, one for myself;) I was extremely lucky to get the opportunity to meet Sarah, and Todd...to shake their hands and exchange a few words - great fun!!!
