ONE OF MY FAVORITE LIBERALS OPINES ON THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE

Camille Paglia is a cogent, reasoned, funny, refreshing, colorful...and often wrong, liberal; but I like her alot! Her to-the-point taking on of the issues with particularly Republicans, of course, but more importantly(in my opinion) her own party. I'll add as well, she defended Sarah Palin just as any other fair-minded person would - particularly of her treatment from the media at large.

She vehemently disagrees with the (D) leadership on the Fairness Doctrine in this audio clip interview-she's dead-on!. Only a few minutes, take a listen.

Why Conservatism Is Anchored On Less Government - case in point

We will have entered into a new dimension in this great country if the Fairness Doctrine is re-instated. This is one of those issues that is not considered by so-called Independents at election time...particularly when an Independent needs just one other issue(such as this one) to tip them over the edge and not vote for the "ONE" that makes you feel good - unfortunately, a lot of conservative leaning Independents will be kicking themselves if this garbage becomes law of the land.
