I don't think that's a new observation! I listen to my Imagination Theater on WCCO still when I remember to, and there was a story about gay couple who was "specially selected" to attend Obama's easter egg hunt.

They were quoted in the article, and seemed pretty proud. I couldn't figure out how two men who were singled out for being gay were proud of that...seems to be the opposite of what they have fought for. Equality? I fail to see it.
