"...Bill Clinton, successfully tackled another supposedly intractable problem: the culture of intergenerational dependency. He collaborated with another House speaker, Newt Gingrich, to produce the single most successful social reform of our time, the abolition of welfare as an entitlement. It turned out that the country's problems were not problems of structure but of leadership."

WINNER !
Happy anniversary, President Obama! The shift in one year from a complete support of Obama to complete support Scott Brown - of independents - my hat is off to them! This special election was epic, and the Left in government leadership in this country are officially on notice... This piece in the NY Times does a fine job of assessing this atmosphere.
Finally, the Democrat elite speak: “I think there’s been a misreading of where the public is at" -- with this statement, the ether may be lifting!

This kind of support of Obama, in Israel, is not good for America. Unfortunately, as in a number of other important policy matters, Americans don't know which side Obama stands on in support. President Obama's want to be all things to all people is dangerous. Obama's lack of leadership on foreign policy is as about as expected from his detractors - but- that it has been as bad as it has...is pretty shocking...even to many of his supporters; some of them mentioned here in this good piece by Dennis Prager...-Link
