Mona Charen is a gem! And is one of the clearest thinking authors out there - among many. She illustrates well, fundamental differences between conservatives and liberals; in essence, and particularly how they see self defense.

GREEN LIGHT: PALIN IS GOING ON OPRAH.

I think Palin going on the Oprah show is going to be huge! I believe it's a win-win for Sarah for a couple reasons:
1. She's confident and very likable; even if she comes out just seeming average, it's nothing lost for her. Her book is going to be a giant seller regardless of her showing on Oprah!
2. If she's firing on all cylinders, and if Oprah doesn't bring down good conversation too low, Sarah will hit it out of the park - because she can, and because she's the real deal. GO SARAH!!!
