Paul Gigot has an excellent interview with Bjorn Lomborg (I'm a huge fan of both, and had a fun run-in with Bjorn once-which I've noted here on this blog! I have the same disagreements as Paul on Bjorns views) Both men give an excellent condensed view of the feckless issues at hand at Copenhahen, and go on to state the real and valid matters that on the ground where the average citizen lives! DUH, right?! ;) Good stuff!!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE HUMAN BEINGS: AN INTERVIEW WITH DINESH D'SOUZA
I had the honor of meeting Dinesh D'Souza after his debate with Dan Barker at the U of Minnesota last year. He signed my copy of his book What's So Great About Christianity? It was a great debate, as they all are with Dinesh! - many of his debates can be seen on Youtube. I also had a few words with Dan Barker afterwords - interesting story he has.This interview is excellent! ! I liked this:
"...but the power of the man's question was that he was reducing the argument to which system ultimately delivered the goods. His bottom line remains sound: religion delivers the goods and atheism can't"

Speaking of "puppetmasters" lately; Glenn Beck recently spoke of a "puppetmaster" of sorts, with close proximity to President Obama...FROM PRISON, no less!
Glenn Beck links together and reports more relevant information in 15 minutes than the 3 major tv networks can/or are willing to report in a week, combined!

Here is another good piece while I'm at it. There's certainly a theme in American politics lately. Now, after a year of the Obama presidency, perspective is an important thing; it is now no longer just the Right that is bringing to light that this emperor has no clothes, its refreshingly, many relevant folk on the Left. Fact.
Brings to mind the many days-many! particularly as a newsjunkie- the days of President Bush almost weekly, being called a "puppet" by the Left/haters, all the while never elucidating as to who the puppetmasters were. Anyhoo...my point is this...President Bush had the confidence and conviction to do what he believed was best for America- and did it- particularly in the long view - this is what I respected him for, and this is polar opposite of puppet characterizations. Obama, on the other hand, gives off precisely the opposite impression when stating his bold moves and measures for "CHANGE" Right or wrong, the American people need to see REAL confidence, REAL sacrifice from their President; right now they're not seeing it...and when they don't, all they really remember is good oratory, and even that from Obama is waning.
